Ug-Toons

A splendid homage to ugliness in the visual arts. Ugly cartoons have been a cherished institution in the civilized world for millenia; from cave paintings all the way to the modern monstrosities we know and love. An unholy marriage of paper and ink, the abominations attract rubberneckers like a head-on train collision. They ask, "is that really a hand?", "why does the elbow bend in the wrong direction?", "why does he look like he's weeping when he laughs?" The perpetrators of these aesthetic crimes, the renderers of Cathy, Ed, Edd and Eddie, and an unsettling distribution of Hanna-Barbera employees, direct their fierce lack of talent upon society with a vengance. Perhaps this is the safest haven for their ineptitude. If they are allowed near heavy machinery, god help us all.
